PACIFIC OYSTER STEW

Stew for two:

Ingredients
  • 3 oysters per person
  • 16 ounces of cream
  • 1 leaf of fresh basil chopped
  • 1 sprig of oregano
  • 1 pinch of coarse pepper
  • 20 crushed saltine crackers
  • 1 teaspoon of chicken oxo powder


    Put coarse chopped oysters, herbs and cream in pot and bring to a boil with oxo powder, add the crushed crackers to thicken, if stew is to thin for your liking add more crackers. this stew is finished in a matter of minutes so please don't over cook or the oysters will become rubbery. crackers are quite salty on their own so taste the stew and if you think the stew needs more salt sprinkle to your discretion. remember- good eats, better fishing and protect your resources.
